Start your morning with insight, access and meaningful conversation.
Power Hour is a new London Chamber event series designed to connect members directly with prominent leaders and decision-makers shaping London and our region.
Each session will feature a respected community, business, government or industry leader sharing perspectives on timely issues, opportunities and developments that matter to London's business community.
The format is simple and focused: a short presentation followed by an interactive Q&A, giving Chamber members the opportunity to hear directly from leaders, ask questions and gain valuable insight, all within one powerful hour.
Whether the conversation is about economic development, infrastructure, government, innovation, investment, workforce or the future of our city, Power Hour puts Chamber members closer to the people and conversations helping shape what comes next.
What will we talk about?
At this Power Hour, Chief Thai Truong will share his perspective on building a safer, stronger London and the important connection between community safety, public confidence and a thriving local economy.
The conversation will explore:
The changing public safety landscape in London and what it means for residents, businesses and our broader community;
How London’s growth and increasing complexity are changing the demands placed on policing;
How the London Police Service is evolving for the future through innovation, technology and new approaches to service delivery;
The importance of stronger partnerships between police, businesses and community organizations in addressing complex challenges; and
Chief Truong’s vision for the future of policing in London — and the role we can all play in creating a safe, strong and vibrant city.
This will be an opportunity for London’s business community to hear directly from the Chief about the issues shaping our city today, the work underway within the London Police Service and what collaboration can look like as London continues to grow.
Who should attend? This Power Hour will be particularly valuable for business owners, executives, managers, downtown businesses, security and property professionals, and anyone with a role in workplace or community safety. It’s also an opportunity for London’s business community to hear directly from the Chief and ask questions about the issues that matter most to them.
