We at King’s University College are working hard to help our students identify their unique skills and talents and communicate these competencies to potential employers. There are many ways for students to identify and articulate the qualities they bring to a potential role, but some of these are more recognized and well-received by employers than others. That’s why I am reaching out to employers to get an understanding of how they would like to see these skills and competencies articulated during the application process – what’s most effective and what methods are employers most (or least) likely to recognize and value?
If you would like to contribute to this research, please take 5 minutes to complete the survey online. At the end of the survey, you will be given the option to provide your name and email to be included in a draw for a $100 gift card of your choice!
I also want to take this opportunity to let you know that we are holding an on-campus Career Fair on March 21, 1-4pm. If you are interested in attending as an employer, please register online here (cost is $50).
Thank you for your kind support of King’s career initiatives! Any questions or comments can be sent to Jenny Richmond-Bravo, Experiential Learning Coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org).
