The professional career of Robert Aziz Ph.D. currently follows three distinct, yet not unrelated paths as a scholar, executive mentor within the business sector and cultural commentator. In 2025, following 36 years in clinical practice as a psychotherapist, he retired as a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. During this time, he held memberships as a Clinical Member of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists, and with the Canadian Psychological Association.
Bringing his depth understanding of individual personality to bear on his work as an executive consultant and mentor, he provides professional direction to executives and executive teams leading an array of businesses throughout Canada and the United States. Underpinning Dr. Aziz' consultancy is his long-held belief in the linkage between productivity and the dynamics of meaning. Organizational productivity is dependent on the dynamics of meaning; meaning is dependent on the conscious and functional processing of information and human experience—a formula which demands as much of those at the center of business units in leadership roles, as it does of the functionality of a business unit in its entirety. Dr. Aziz’ consultancy has thus taken as its primary task the in-depth development of the processing capabilities of those individuals upon whom the sustainable productivity capabilities of our business organizations so greatly depend, our business leaders.
